The much-requested story of Laila’s birth. Since it passed 10k, I figured I’d better split this up into two parts. Nearly finished with the second. This is nothing but babies and cats and feelings and Jason Todd trolling everyone (but especially Tim). Which could probably be a summary of my blog in general.

You both brought up very good points.
I just find their relationship so realistic for the situation they’re in. They’re still feeling each out. Damian is so intent on proving that he’s amazing and Bruce just wants Damian calm down and to be the best he can be, not necessarily “The Best”. I feel for both of them, they both have valid points for the way they act though it’s frustrating for everyone (especially poor Alfred who’s just trying to smooth everyone’s feathers) and I really love how well written the comic has been so far.
I was skeptical at first, thinking “How will this comic be dynamic, Damian and Bruce are too much alike!” but the truth is, they really aren’t. Their dispositions may be similar but they are very different, and I’m excited to see how their relationship unfolds as the story progresses.

/ The Long Halloween / Takes place during Bruce’s early days as Batman a killer named Holiday is wrecking havoc on Gotham. Comissioner Gordon and Harvey Dent are also on the case as the Falcone and Maroni family continue to fight among one another. Origins of Harvey Dent as Two-Face.
/ Dark Victory / A follow up to The Long Halloween. Batman and the Gotham City Police Department face another murder named Hangman. The Falcone family is out on their final limb as Two-Face tries to wrap up business. Introduces Dick Grayson as Robin.
/ Catwoman: When in Rome / Miniseries taking place in between The Long Halloween and Dark Victory. Selina travels to Rome with The Riddler in search of her father.
